Russia: First-half beer output up 0.9%

Russia’s January-June beer output increased by 0.9% versus the same period last year, Profibeer reported on July 17 citing Rosstat data.

The nation’s brewers produced 39.7 mln hl of beer during the first half of this year.

In June alone, production was up 7.4% versus May 2020 and up 6% versus June 2019.

In January-May, beer production dropped by 0.5%.
